Welcome to HourOps. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using HourOps, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms, which prioritize the security and integrity of your enterprise data.
Who operates HourOps
HourOps is an independently operated software product. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions and handles checkout, payment processing, billing documentation, and applicable sales tax or VAT. These Terms govern your use of the HourOps software and services.
HourOps hosted service
A paid subscription provides access to the hosted HourOps workforce-management SaaS platform for the plan and configuration selected at checkout. Depending on that plan, the service may include timesheets, leave management, projects and tasks, custom roles and permissions, the AI Assistant, and vendor or contractor sub-accounts. Seat limits, feature availability, and add-on limits are determined by the selected plan and any confirmed subscription changes.
Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly.
- Seat increases take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- Seat decreases apply at the next billing cycle.
- You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
- Refund eligibility is limited to new subscriptions requested within 7 days of starting the plan.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, manages payment adjustments. Many live-account refunds require Paddle approval, and an approved refund may take additional time to reach the original payment method.
1. Enterprise Security & Compliance
You agree to use our platform in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations, including GDPR. We guarantee that your data is handled with strict compliance, but you remain responsible for the lawful collection and input of any workforce data into the platform.
2Tenant-Level Data Guarantees
We provide our services using a strict data isolation policy at the database level.
- Security Architecture: HourOps enforces rigorous tenant-level validations on every request.
- Mutual Responsibility: While we secure the infrastructure and guarantee data isolation, you are responsible for appropriately configuring your custom roles and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) scopes to prevent internal misuse.
- Sub-Accounts: If you utilize the MULTI MAX plan to provision vendor sub-accounts, you are responsible for managing their access scopes and ensuring their compliance with these terms.
3. Data Integrity & Availability
All our user data is safe.However, the availability of the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We utilize strict Row-Level Security (RLS) and secure backup mechanisms to prevent data loss, but we encourage enterprise users to perform regular exports of timesheets and leave records.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
To maintain the integrity of our secure environment, you must not:
- Attempt to bypass our tenant-level validations or security mechanisms.
- Use the platform to store malicious software or illegal content.
- Interfere with the performance or availability of the HourOps infrastructure.
5. Security and Bot Protection
To protect our website and services from spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and automated bots, we use third-party security and anti-fraud services, including Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Cloudflare Turnstile. These services may analyze traffic patterns, device characteristics, and network information (such as your IP address) solely to verify that you are a human and not an automated bot, and to block malicious activity. This data is not used for targeted advertising or cross-site tracking.
